  • The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. James 5:16b (NIV)

  • You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit — fruit that will last — and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. John 15:16 (NIV)

At the bottom of the page, you will find a link to prayer cards of all the scriptures mentioned.

Six prayer points for your POWER PRAYER WALK:

  • Focus on praising God for who He is and all His goodness. Start by singing a song, quietly or in your head. Singing helps you focus on God and not be distracted by the surroundings. If you aren’t sure what song to sing, start with Jesus Loves Me. If you are a Spotify user, simply type in “prayer walk” and a number of pre-selected playlists will pop up.

· I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people, for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
